November 19th, 2009This week Bon Jovi’s new album The Circle lands the #1 spot on the Billboard album chart. This is the tenth top 10 album for the veteran rockers. In the meantime, Andrea Bocelli’s My Christmas and Carrie Underwood’s Play On do the switcheroo, switching spots on the chart with Bocelli climbing to #2 and Underwood falling to #3.

Getting Down with Motown on Its 50th Birthday
November 6th, 2009A two-night event to celebrate Motown’s 50th anniversary is taking place in Detroit on Nov. 20-21. Legends like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and the Temptations are set to perform for this concert benefiting the Motown Historical Museum. Part of the event will be televised during the Detroit Lions’ game during halftime on Thanksgiving, where you can see some of today’s younger Motown stars. You can read more here.
